Just wanted to let you know that I'll be playing at THE ROCK in Brawley tonight, Friday, the 11th. I'll be doing some Soda Stereo covers and others, plus originals of course!
I was shocked, last night, to see my name on the newspaper(yesterday's IV PRESS) in the column that said something about ACOUSTIC and HEAVY METAL bands to play weekend in local venues page B5...check it out... |

Hey maybe you should tell the powers of Calecia.com to have a section where they promote the local bands and have samples of you guy's work... That way all of us, the out of towners can still experience some true Calecianos, and not just the a's that put our city's name on while being from Tucson.... |

I like the sound of that. That would be very cool. |

WinterGhost is not for making his work available online and Calecia.com is not in the business of enforcing DRM.
With MySpace and other sites like that, bands/artists can publish their work online. It may not be the best approach, but it's the popular one right now.
As for WinterGhost, you might just have to send him a SASE to get a copy of his music. |

So, how did it go? The acoustic set guys, be reminded that the spot will be having a kind of like "unplugged" nite once they get open. Get with me and get booked for it. Local music needs to be heard.

What is it with places lagging when it comes to opening? ie. the bowling alley, Mexicali Tortilla Factory, The Spot, etc. |

| I would like the people from Calexico to listen to my music...deffinately...and that's why any gig in Calecia would be great...I don't feel safe putting it on MYSPACE...but for someone who just wants to listen to it from here...well, last night, I had some cds with me...but it was mainly Brawley people...it went well... |

| Anyone know where I can play in Calexico...I just HAVE to play there! I've tried Hollie's lounge back in 2003 but they're more about dancing music...and the owner of Vaca Mart never got back to me! ...what's left in Calexico? Let me know... |
