The drastic measures some kids will take to avoid going to school:
Boy Glues Hand to Bed to Avoid School
A 10-year-old Mexican boy dreaded returning to school after Christmas break so much that he glued his hand to his bed. Sandra Palacios spent nearly two hours Monday morning trying to free her son Diego's hand with water, oil and nail polish remover before calling authorities, police chief Jorge Camacho told The Associated Press from outside the northern city of Monterrey.
"I didn't want to go to school because vacation was so much fun," Reforma newspaper quoted the boy as saying.

I think the worst thing I did to avoid school was just pretend to be sick. Though my mom didn't care and dragged me there. She learned her lesson when I crawled my way home in the freezing rain with my body aching and face red, blistered and swollen to double the size. I looked like one of the Garbage Pail Kids. |

| I hated school all my life -- from the moment I started kindergarten. I hold the record for youngest person ever to ditch school. A few weeks into kindergarten I'd had enough, so I planned my escape during recess. When the teacher's aid hovered away from the gate, that's when I made my move. Sliding out the gate, sticking close to the fence to make sure I blended in with the crowd of kids inside, casually walking so as not to draw attention, I went home at 10:10 in the morning. My mom took me back so Mrs. Noble (at Mains) wouldn't call the cops thinking I'd disappeared. Remarkably, everyone thought my daring escape was pretty funny. I have at least fourteen stories like this one.[/quote] |

Not true. I heard that spic-ole ditched pre-school at Rockwood Elementary and was picked up by the cops, handcuffed and thrown into Juvi. |

Not true. I heard that spic-ole ditched pre-school at Rockwood Elementary and was picked up by the cops, handcuffed and thrown into Juvi. |
