The only reason why the Giants matched the Patriots in points was because the Pats defense was tired from playing all season long to earn their 16-0 record.
Eli VPV.
Yes, Romo has blown his past two games mainly because of Owens being out. If Owens plays, even as a decoy, Romo will be successful. |
damn dog. sorry pues. Cowboys rule for life. Romo for president. |

We can only hope. Going back to Eli and the way two OK performances in a row have everyone thinking he's taking his team to the NFC Championship Game, I like what DJ Gallo wrote: "Perhaps this is the time he has finally arrived as a topflight NFL quarterback. Maybe he really has turned the corner. I, for one, believe he has. In fact, I've always felt that Eli turns the corner better than anyone else. The problem is, he always turns in the same direction at every corner. So by the third turn, he's always right back on the same corner on which he started. And it's a smelly corner. There's a dumpster on it and a sewer grate." I believe after two OK games we are at corner number three and he's headed back to the dumpster.

All the other teams suck so bad in comparison, so this year, its oing to be the Patriots Vs. Patriots. Starting Offense Vs. starting defense. Thats the only way we can solve this!

Red Eye instinct on Eli. He looks like one of the Garewell's from Hotville. |

I've never met the Garewells from Holtville, but if they even remotely look like that then please tell them they are welcome at my house -- any day, any time -- for beers. I wouldn't even need TV anymore. Do they have a Southern drawl, by chance? If they do, then forget it. I'm moving in with them. |

So are you for or against Eli? First you talk about him ending up in the dumpster and sewer, now your moving in with him. |

I'm against Eli being called a capable quarterback after one good game against an undefeated team (a game he had a huge part in losing by the way) and one decent game against a team that is not only not very good, but also came out flat after taking two weeks off.
I am, however, pro moving-in-with-Eli. I could give him free beer and watch him try to say, "I'm unstoppable. Why?? Cuz I am fueled by light -- Corona Light! Haaaaaaaaa! Who's with me?", while he flashes his Citizen Eco-Drive watch as he raises his hand and waits for a high five that never comes. |
