since tv links was brought down I cant watch my old tv programs amd movies. TV Links used to have them all alphabetized and linked, It was a one stop site for free content on the net. New and old as well as new releases were available. What else is available out there on the net to fill this void?

This is a little different than just watching old show(which I too enjoy)but try this pretty cool site calle ebaumsworld.com

It has funny clips, stupid criminals, illusions, jokes, extreme footage...and much more!

I had never heard of TV-Links, but after doing a quick search I came up with this blog post listing close to 40 other alternatives:

TV-Links replacements

In the past I've used SopCast to watch televised international soccer matches like the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, etc. and it works well enough. You might have to listen to Korean commentators, but the game play is what matters.

It requires the DivX Web Player to be installed on your computer, and it doesn't have the old school tv shows, but it's still pretty cool:

I love that one. You need DivX to watch it. The quality is pretty much PERFECT. Smile

I like this site from Brasil that lists live TV webstreams by country. They have A LOT of listings, so it can get tedious, but once you find those you like you can create a playlist on WMP and just channel surf. It is live TV so mind the time difference.

Cons: Wait time between channel loading (depending on your connection); A few broken/outdated links

I read an article earlier today about OpenHulu.com

If you haven't heard of Hulu.com it's a legal "Youtube" for a lot of TV Shows, but at the moment it's in a closed beta where only those with invitations may login and watch videos. But like any good video site, Hulu.com allows you to embed their videos on a website and what the person behind OpenHulu.com is doing is going through all the videos on Hulu.com and adding them to OpenHulu.com so that people without invitations can still watch the videos.

Just thought I'd share because it has that Tin Man show they were advertising from the SciFi channel which I'd never be able to see since I don't gots me no cable Wink.

So far I see it has Family Guy, Heroes, Arrested Development, 24, The Office, Battlestar Galactica, Prison Break, Bones House, King of the Hill, The Simpsons, and a few others with more coming.
