Just received a little bit of insider info stating the new In-N-Out is opening today (Thursday)!

After INO being hush about opening day, they will begin serving up delicious and juicy burgers and crispy fries on this very special day.

In-N-Out Day!

See you all there for lunch, dinner and breakfast!

No, it's in El Centro next to the IHOP (4th Ave. and Wake Ave.).

I can live with it being in EC, since it is technically south of the I-8 and you know just north of I-8 is where the Imperial Valley really begins... at least according to many.

Hmmm...

We just had a scout go by INO and the security guard is still outside protected by the fence and "keep out" signage. No sight of any new INO employees or smoke from the vents coming out either.

Maybe it'll opening up in the evening?

Just call the INO toll-free number and they said the source did not confirm with INO HQ.

In-N-Out is hoping to open near the end of next week, so that my 12/12 guess date in the running.

Sorry to ruin anyone's day.

INO might not be open, but El Sombrero at the I.V. Mall is. Around noon, it was packed to the gills.

Anyway, in prep for INO, bone up on your secret menu.

Check out the laughable one on the INO Web site:
http://www.in-n-out.com/secretmenu.asp
Only six items.

Customization, bro!

What's so special about El Sombrero?

I didn't know about the mustard cooked beef. I'll have to try my #x# w/ extra grilled onions and mustard cooked next time.

I'm pretty sure I can eat a 20x20 all by myself.

Nothing special about El Sombrero. Just thought it was worth mentioning because it's another chain place.

BTW, INO Animal Style is rad.

Disregard my last comment!! Not open! A second buddy, a very pissed buddy I should add, just loaded up his three kids in the Suburban and headed out to EC only to have to settle for McDonalds. Boy is my face red. I did say i hadn't seen it for myself, in my defense.
