Farm Worker Appreciation Breakfast this Friday

This coming Friday is the 28th annual Farm Worker Appreciation Breakfast at the Calexico One-Stop. The 3 to 6 AM breakfast honors all the field workers who work the land and serves more than 4,000 fileros with un cafecito, pan dulce, tamales and frijolitos.

The majority of contributions are made by local farmers, contractors and local biz. If you'd like to make a contribution, write a check payable to the 28th annual Farm Worker Breakfast, c/o Calexico Chamber of Commerce and mail it to P.O. Box 948, Calexico, CA 92232.

Hell yeah, man, those men and women work harder than hell...
They deserve all the Cafesito they want....especially now that it's cold at 3 AM!

I agree with the Farmworkers' Breakfast, what does get me though is the fact that many of the politicians who just show up for a chance to be in the paper. Besides that, this is a great event!!!
