For all those fans who follow Sub Grappling, and or compete, I am looking for new sponsors for the 2008 PAL Tournamnet, tenativley scheduled for Calexico in March. El Centro is making a push to hold it there, and they are rolling out the red carpet.
After the problems with Calexico last year I swore to myself not to do it here anymore, but as it started here as a PAL program of brazilian jiu jitsu, and they allowed it twice, I would like to keep it local.
The turnout for the 2007 tourney was really good with teams from Yuma , Mexicali, san diego , palm springs and all over the valley.
Spectators got to see exciting battles between grapplers of all styles.
So, if you know of anyone wishing to sponsor either cash for advertisement space, or donation of prizes, or giveaways etc., have them contact me at graple1@msn.com with the heading sub grap tourney or some such ilk.
Last years sponsors logos where on all the fighters and officials t shirts and this year I hope to have booths up by the sponsors, and other cool stuff is in the works. so let me know!
