Cole Road, now Cole Boulevard, is gonna finally get widened past the railroad tracks onto Kloke Rd. KXO reports the county awarded a contract to a San Diego-based company to allow wide loads to go through and incorporate turning lanes for semi-trucks. The contract is for $800K, but almost 90% will be reimbursed back by the feds through the Regional Surface Transportation Program.
It's about time, man. You have to swerve in order to avoid the broken parts of the existing "road" and avoid car damage or an accident with oncoming semis.

yeah, it IS about time...it has half assed back when they did the railroad job...I thought all of it was going to be fixed but nope, it wasn't!
I heard that one of the reason that extinct feed lot can not be used is because it's contaminated with lead...is that true? |
