Looks like IV Press editor Brad Jennings is calling for tips and other tid-bits of info on putting a stop to the alleged corruption that goes on in Calexico.

Golly gosh. The IV Press is trying to stop corruption in Calecia city hall? Wow, I feel safer already.  But I agree with Soulman (btw, welcome). It is a combination. These guys, not all mind you, get into office just to make money. Or start their pay backs to campaign contributers. Either way, someone is profitting by a corrupt councilperson taking office.
Who was the councilman that got caught with brand new kitchen cabinets that a developer gave him? Can't seem to remember that? Wasn't there also a councilman that, when running for re-election, used city resources? I heard he used city paper and office equipment to print out his posters and signs.  |

| I remember that incident, with the cop and the councilman. That made it to the press, imagine all the stuff that get's swept under the rug. I heard about a fire dept employee who was using fire dept pickup truck to go to san di on personal business. |
