Hey does anyone know what happened to the Texaco that's on the corner of 98 and Andrade or Medows, across from El Sol Market? I think in the past they were caught selling beer to minors.

I was surprised to see it closed last night.

Don't know if they were busted selling liquor to minors while it was a Texaco, but I do know their gas prices were anywhere from 5 to 10 cents more than any other gas station.

Don't worry though. I'm sure another gas station will be in operation before the end of 2007.

The Texaco on Cole rd seemed to close at around the same time. Seems as though it might have been owned by the same owner(s)?

I remember hearing quite often that the one on Meadows would get busted for selling alcohol to minors, I heard that they had even lost their liquor license at least once. One of the few times that I actually went to that place I remember seeing that they had absolutely no alcohol in the store.

This all seemed to have happened when it was Meadows Market and not a Texaco.

Maybe it's just that oil companies are now losing so much money because gas prices are so high and no one is buying...

I know that when the gas stations were called Amerco and Meadows Market both were owned by the same family.

I wonder if there is any way to make driving to Yuma cost effective.

Isn't it like 30 cents cheaper over there?

We need to find some oil drums.
