How do you expect someone to do their best for the city when they aren't getting anything as personal gain?

That's is the reality of this situation, but they already get a salary. Should City officials also get the right to have the public look the other way while they conduct illegal activity? I don't think corruption in government at any level is never good for us.

Wait till you're running the show and see how hard it is to "keep it real" when you have everyone sucking up to you and slipping you dollar bills.

I can't say you're wrong since I've never been in that situation. I can say that is one of many reasons I would never get into politics. However, you can't say, "I couldn't help being corrupt. There were too many people trying to bribe me". Fuentes, Renison, all these guys, they're not from Mars. We know them. We grew up with them. They've always been self serving rats. That's why they got into politics. They weren't angel-faced, civic-minded individuals that got corrupted by small time politics. If you think that's what happened, you're a child. If you're OK with their corruption, I envy you.

I was in a rush at work and didn't read over this comment before I posted it. I destroyed the English language here. Please ignore "is" in the first sentence and the "n" in "never" in the last sentence. Sorry!

The days of Calecia.com's crew of Grammar Nazi's appears to be long gone. Fragments, run-ons, improper spelling, they run rampant through these highways nowadays.

Sounds like it was time consuming. I do try to proofread myself, though.

Not to continue the off-topicness, but spic-ole and revramrod were also part of the C.com Gestapo. Democracy now runs rampant on C.com and the posters have the freedom to write incomprehensible diatribe. Let freedom ring.
