| I remember the good old days when Calecia.com was full of discussion where we critized all the powerful or the people who thought had some power in good ol Calecia. What happened to those days. Can someone give me a good reason why to log on to Calecia.com. |

Nope. I don't think Calecia.com is doing any censoring.
I think people just don't have any juicy news to talk about. Actually, I'm sure there's stuff happening beneath our noses, but we just don't know about it.
Although what RandR brought up about Becerril and the new developments in town is quite interesting, but how can we prove any of that. If the Starbucks aircon tidbit is true, then how were they strong armed into picking them?
Now if the armory deal was being given to a developer thanks to some under the table transactions and thus the people not getting the promised recreational area they requested, then that'd be big news. I just don't have any evidence that leads to that. Maybe someone out there does if this were the case, but it's likely they'd stay hush-hush about it anyway.
I personally think Radiodude is a pussy because he claimed there was tons of corruption is city hall, but he never provided any details. AFAIK, he's MIA. Maybe that's why he went missing because he had some incriminating evidence? Doubtful. |

Yeah, my beef with Louis (not Luis) Fuentes and Becerril is based entirely on anecdotal evidence. But I think it is impotant that there be a forum for the discussion of local issues, and that is what Calecia.com provides. But I am new here so I have no means of comparing what C.com is today to what it used to be.
If you need a reason to log on to Calecia.com, morrisonhotel, let me wow you with my mad basic math skills: You joined Calecia.com some 1289 days ago. In that time you have posted 26 comments. That gives you a ratio of 1 post every 50 days (roughly). Maybe you could make Calecia.com a more interesting place by participating more often than once every seven weeks (more madd basic math skillz!). |

No one can compel you to visit and participate on C.com. This site is driven by the hard work and dedication of elchrist and other moderators to keep discussions informative and alive. However, it is evident that this site is driven by users and not moderators. It is up to the community to come forth with new threads, topics, inside information, and/or fresh ideas that are intellectually stimulant. After all, C.com offers the opportunity for the community to voice their opinion. That in itself, is worth coming back. |
