| I realize this is a profoundly stupid question, but it has been bugging me ever since I played John "Jack" Fitzgerald Kennedy at Mrs. Guttierez's "Living History" year-end presentation when I was in the 3rd grade. Why in the berries are people named "John" nicknamed "Jack"? |

JACQUE IN THE BOX....John is Jacque to the Euros hence Jack.
all the white people now have first names that are last names.. |
