Eugenio Elorduy Walther, Baja California's current governor, will be trick-or-treating at Calexico City Hall this Halloween. He'll be there early, around 10:30 AM, to receive a plaque from the city for his service as governor.

The public is invited.

I know we have relations with Mexicali/Baja, but is this necessary? It's only going to piss off more Real Americans.

I think it's an honor for the governor of Baja to be in Calexico. Who do you you think pays our bills and keeps our local economy humming? Without Mexicali-our town would look like Calipat.

We are the real americans ...Not some angry Minuteman or Lou Dobbs loser...

What did I say?

The paper seems to be blowing out of proportion some comments about the border wait times in what I would assume is to troll its readers online.

Baja California governor criticizes U.S.
http://www.ivpressonline.com/articles/2007/11/01/news/news01.txt

“the biggest parking lot in the world,”

“Sitting one or two or even three hours is a ridiculous amount of time,”

It's the truth.

I wasn't there, but I'm sure Elorduy had a lot of good things to say about us, but what's better news: good or bad?

Troll-fodder.

BTW, I didn't know the governor of Baja is a Caleciano. Puro Calecia Eugenio!
