After many months of not dialing for the correct time, today I discovered that "853-Time" is no longer available. Actually it was 853- and any four numbers you wanted.... It was sad to hear they decided to remove the time announcement service.
Maybe I should've posted this in "Your old school if " but I enjoyed getting the correct time once in a while. Especially during these months when people aren't sure if time moves forward or back. This was the only thing I had as a back up.
What I mean by posting it in your "Old school if"...Anyone remember when calling time was an open line? Kinda like the party line of the 80's? That was funny. |
