No,
translation:

"Yes,
Naranjito, it was a cartoon during the world cup, that is why he played soccer."

So, who are you? that you only understand English, a new-comer to Caleica town? or a decendant of one of the original pioneers of Calexico? When I used to be around it seemed everybody could understand Spanish. Are you a Griswold? the son of Calexico High School's ex-librarian? etc? who? who?[/quote]

I was born and raised in the Valley. The thing is when I joined the Army I lived in Oklahoma and Kentucky and I did not speak or read Spanish for four years. Therefore, when I came home I spoke Spanish badly, but I got my speaking ability back. My reading, well, that's a different story. I read slow to the point where I wont bother. Sure, I could take the time to improve my Spanish reading skills, but what for. It’s not as if I’ll be grading papers written in Spanish. Just because I live in the Valley does not mean I need to read as long as I can speak Spanish. Besides, I live in El Centro and unlike Calexico, half the shit here is not written in Spanish. As long as I can post on Calecia.com, I can bitch about that.

This omarbarcena guy seriously needs his face slapped ... like a little kid. Just like how he's acting everytime he posts. Any takers?

Don't be such a snob cause someone can't read or write Spanish.

You slap little kids in the face?! Shocked

Someone needs to slap you, and I'm willing to do so.

There was this short-lived cartoon from Spain named "Coby" about this strange yellow character that I can't tell whether he was a human or animal. Seen during and shortly after the Barcelona 1992 olympics in Canal "32" of Chicali. It was an interesting series.

Was that the one with the thing that looked kinda like a dog, yet still managed to look like a bear with a human face? I believe it was a dog.
