I never knew about the Wilhelm scream, but after watching this video compilation of movies that used it I'll make sure to keep an ear out for it from now on.
It just gets funnier and funnier after each time. |

| I looked this up on imdb, and found that over a hundred movies listed on that website have a Wilhelm tag. Who knows how many more movies have used that classic stock sound -- which to be honest I didn't even know was a classic until you posted that link. I'm surprised I never noticed ... "Hmm, that 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!' sounded a lot like the ones I've heard in dozens of other tv shows and movies." |
