I'm sure you've all seen the pork + coke video and swore you'd never eat pig again. I did, for about two days, until I learned they were lies, lies, lies.

Though I've actually heard of people dying in Mexicali from eating pork. Sometimes al pastor, sometimes carnitas. Supposedly when eating undercooked pork a parasitic worm can crawl into your brain and give you seizures. Sounds crazy, but probably true (back in the day).

Has anyone heard of people dying from eating pork (in Mex)? I can't bare to live with the thought of never eating al pastor again.

I've also heard of one person dying from eating tacos de borrego at the perrocarril.

Haven't heard of peeps dyin in chicali, but have heard about those worms. You need to check your pork before you eat it. If it has white dots all over the meat, then it's infected. Those white dots are actually cysts, where the worm comes out from. It doesn't always go to your head, they settle in your muscles and other parts of your body, when they settle in your brain, thats the worst case scenario, but it's still pretty bad.
