The fastest growing sport for males and some females in law enforcement and mostly in general. Its a good cardio, calestenic, and stress relieving sport. There's softball leagues, flag football and why not sub grappling. I know all you law enforcement, myself included, would be interested. Please share your thoughts and ideas. Thanks.

Get back from Canada and lets get together, we could mix the IVSGC series and weighted competitors into teams, and the pitch is still good for those guys we talked about earlier. Hit me up!

here is some basic info, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Submission_grappling
Basically UFC type combat without the punching or kicking. Relies on clinches, throws, takedowns, and then locks, chokes and cranks causing your opponent to "Tap Out" signalling the admitted defeat, or to be rendered uncouncious by vascular restraint. (Choke). In a contest where neither opponent taps winners are determined by points scored for gaining an advantageous (dominant) position on their opponent.
Primary aspect and type of combat used in Brazilian jiu jitsu.
