The mexican movie "El Crimen del Padre Amaro" is the story of a young and innocent priest who gets sent to a church to serve the lord. When he gets there he finds that no one is free of corruption not even the church. It stars the guy from Amorres Perros and Y tu Mama Tambien. I recommend it. It's good to watch once. After that, it isn't as good anymore.
There's some other mexican movie that's supposed to be pretty good it "Tigre" in the title. It's been getting really good reviews by critics and normal people also.
Go check em out if you get the chance. |

"El Crimen del Padre Amaro" is a movie worth watching if nothing else for the religious controversy it carries in Mexico.
It would be a good idea to watch this film for a second time just to try and understand a couple of scenes and figure out why the fuck they were included. This, however, onlyapplies to those that don't completely take in the entire movie the first time around. |
