I was watching some Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern (Travel Channel) today and I starting wondering if their was any food in this region that might possibly make it on a show like that.
Right now I can't think of anything except for maybe "churros locos," but I'm not sure if those were invented here.
"Disco Street" in Mex. is where you can find anything fried, but I'm sure you'll find one of them anywhere else in Mexico. I'd like to see if Anthony Bourdain can survive Chicali.
Any "bizarre" foods here? |

| What about tejuino? I can't think of anything more weird than a combination of rotten corn, lime, water, and whatever harmful substance could come from all the traffic and dust storms of Blvd. Lopez Mateos. |
