I don't understand how a "businessman" can issue out bogus checks and think they'll get a way with it. Do these people just not care about what they're doing?
Handing out bad checks is only going to piss off the customers even more, so at least admit you're broke and go bankrupt. Your biz is over and if you're not going to pay back the money you took at least legally tell them to bounce.
I wonder if before getting busted he was planning on skipping town or if this is just business as usual and didn't expect an arrest. |

It's called positive "cash flow". Perhaps now he can qualify to work at City Hall. With his creative talents- he can figure how to reduce the costly water and trash bills.
