| In Tijuana! They started the demolition of the Hipodromo in the middle of TJ to start building a 33,000 seat soccer stadium to bring Primera Division soccer to TJ.They will keep the original Hipodromo grandstands and just build the other stands around it. Hank Rhon the owner of the Hipodromo and over 200 caliente's all over mexico (mexicali has 5 now) offered 27 million dollars to the owner of Puebla to bring that team to TJ, but he declined the offer. Looks like they are finally gonna start putting money into the Primera A TJ Xoloecuintles (who the fuck chose that name???). A big change this season has been the addition of various good players and they played 3 exhibition games in the last 2 weeks vs Pumas, Monterrey, and Santos. It'll be cool if TJ has a primera division team, I wouldn't mind the 2 hour drive at least once a month. Hank Rhon and the Panista candidta Osuna Millan both promised to bring first division soccer to both TJ and Mexicali. Well TJ is pretty close, let's hope Mexicali isn't that much far behind. |
