This just came into my inbox:

Just shy of 3,000 people submitted video questions to YouTube for the Democratic presidential debate last night in Charleston, SC. The collaboration between CNN and YouTube marked the first virtual city hall event of its type.

Politicians and hopefuls have stumped on the "Broadcast Yourself" website, but they've not been drilled by the likes of Caroline McTeer, a high school senior from Hampton County, SC, who asked the candidates how they did on their last standardized test. Another, a Mr. "Spoon," who submitted his query on the Primary Season Web cam in Portsmouth, NH ask candidates how they would wean the country off of coal. Other posters demonstrated remarkable creativity, such as the YouTuber dressed in a chicken suit asking candidates to donate their campaign funds to the homeless.

Did anyone ask when Anderson Cooper will come out of the closet?

Is it your job solely to write negative comments about intelligent, successful people or are you actually trying to be funny?

Personally, I didn't know who the hell you were talking about because I don't have cable or satellite television so I don't have CNN so I decided to look up this guy up to see what you were talking about.

So first thing I did was type his name in and of course Wikipedia came up with a long article on the guy.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anderson_Cooper

Even though the article mentions that it has been speculated that he may be gay the guy prefers to keep his personal life separate from his public journalistic life. I can relate and respect that.

I still wondered though, so I decided to look him up on youtube too:

And all I got from that was a feeling that the guy was professional, funny and intelligent. No signals on the gaydar went off for me. I imagine that he's like those professional women who never get married, just that he's a guy, even though the Wikipedia article mentions that he's said he'd like to have kids some day.

So I don't know what to say except take your own advice and try not to post senselessly.

Get a little more interesting, will ya? You've been on a posting rampage, yet nothing sticks. Try casting a bigger net.

Oh, and live a little by watching some TV. Log off once in a while.

Did I say I don't watch TV? No, I said I don't have satellite or cable. I had a fun time watching America's Got Talent tonight...watching those Duttons do La Bamba was hard to watch.

Looking forward to some of the programs coming out on NBC in the fall too, especially another season of Heroes.

And so what if I had some time the other day to post links to a few videos I've seen over the past couple of months? It's not like I'm going to be posting videos every day. I just thought those ones were pretty interesting and that other people might want to see them. I'm not forcing anyone to see them, I'm not going to spam the boards.

And I do get to log off once in a while, but this is how I make what little money I do make so I'm on here quite a bit unless I'm somewhere on location helping someone.
