I don't think he gets to play football. The NFL Commissioner has barred him from practicing. And I guess his status as a professional is still under review.

Pretty freakin' stupid of the Falcons to let go of Matt Schaub. Now they're stuck w/ Joey Harrington, who sucks.

Look for the Falcons to make a trade for another QB this week. There are guys out there that are better than Joey.

It was good to see another thug and Leon player go down. M.Vick was not a professional on or off the field. He got what he deserved.

SCLC, NAACP, and other prominent organizations have to reevaluate their endorsement procedures. They came out and defended that African-Amercian stripper in the Duke case. Not only was there no evidence, but the DA was disbarred. Here, M.Vick was guilty from day one, but these groups still defended him. I understand that he is black and down in the South the law has never been on their side, but it's time to defend people who are innocent.

M.Vick might play in the NFL one day, but that window is closing fast. I know there will be at least one owner desperate enough to sign him, but I expect that team to lose season ticket holders, corporate sponsors via luxury boxes, lose of MNF or prime-time games.

W.E.B. Dubois, T.Marshall and the rest of the NAACP must be turning in the graves after the latest comments by the President of the same organization.

Yes, we live in a forgiving society one which prides itself in rehabilitation and second chances, but M.Vick hasn't done any time. Yet, these organizations want to grant him a free pass already. In a sense they are condoning such behavior because M.Vick has already learned from his mistakes by plea bargaining with the Federal prosecutor.

M.Vick's will only go jail for several months and then let go. His freedom will not be taken away after he pays his dues to society. Playing in the NFL is a privilege and not a right. If these athletes want to make it rain, or kill dogs then society should not sympathize with them when they are exiled from such a league.

It is a sad day in America when the NAACP has time to make a statement about sparing the football career of a animal torturer, killer, and who profited from such illegal activity instead of fighting the true racial inequalities that its members face on a daily basis.
