It'll be 95 years since Calexico was incorporated and looks like there's gonna be a party:

This city's 95th anniversary kickoff celebration will be at noon Monday in City Hall.
A multi-national buffet sponsored by the Calexico 95th anniversary committee will be offered for guests before the ceremony.

The kickoff celebration will initiate the 95-day countdown to the date of April 11, the day Calexico was incorporated in 1908.
Various ceremonies coordinated by Calexico's 95th anniversary committee will take place April 9-12. |

It has to have something to do with Mexicali turning 100 last year. How old is El Centro and all the other Imperial Valley cities/towns? Are we the big brother or the snotty little one? |
