I have noticed throughout the years how people who live in mexicali and work here have a peculiar way of working with the public. They have a possessive conduct with mrechandise or food. For example, I recently visited Subway in Calexico, in comparison to other Subways around the valley , the people here are stingy with the veggies! I requested some black olives with my sub, I swear the lady gave me 5 pieces. Jalapenos, the same thing. I am serious someone here has to go and try it. If you've ever been to a subway in other areas, they are generous with the veggies. Of course, if you want extra meats or cheese there would bean extra charge, but the veggies? come on...
Second example, Wal-mart. Authority is everything here!! Geez. Ask for something in any department, first response: “No, no tengo eso ahorita” “no me a llegado eso” or “ya se me Acabo”. Oh, and don't forget the greeting lady, someone gave her a highlighter....and Wham! overinflated attitude.
Also noticed when given higher positions in any store or company, they tend to become animals. I say animals because they lack the education to be given certain positions, yet they seem to believe they are higher because of their newfound status. I heard one say... “Ya Chinge” so fuck everybody else!
with that said, kinda reminds me of the cartoon with Daffy Duck ...mine, mine mine....it’s all mine! |

| Thats very true. And like the old saying goes, "if you give someone (the type of person with that kind of attitude) and inch, they will take a mile." Its sad but I guess its just part of living in Calecia. |

When people in the fast food industry count it’s simply because their managers tells them that they need to count everything they put in a sandwich. Even in SD when I used to go to Togo’s they counted everything from cheese, meat, pickles, etc. Thus, if you didn't get enough olives on your sandwich it’s probably more with their managers being on their ass then the fact that they are from Mexicali.
As for Wal-Mart, I have had the luxury to step in 10+ different Wal-Mart and let me tell you I have never gotten any service. Just to find any employee is a challenge and once they do they always pull the “what I have out there is all that I have.” Actually the worst customer service Wal-Mart is off Lake Murray (the one in Alpine off the 8 ).
And are they really from Mex because most of the people I see at this Wal-Mart are from Calexico. |

| I think you can also blame Mexicans for Pizza Hut now charging for cheese as one topping. |

No pendexter. Pizza Hut now charges the ingredient cheese as a topping, so if you don't want your pizza pie to just have tomato sauce, you're gonna have to pay up whatever the cost of an extra ingredient is.
So a pepperoni with cheese pizza is now considered a two-topping pizza.
I don't know if PH in CX is doing that yet, but I've read about this being troof in other cities. |
