I am putting together a "Night of Acoustic Music" hopefully a month into the new club "The Spot" in El Centro.
I am looking for individuals or small groups who will come in for the night and or do 2 to 3 songs, unplug their gear, and the next group comes up, gets introduced and does their thing. Loose, mellow, not a contest, not really an open mic night either. But, I do want different styles, so If it is rock, country, religious, rock en espanol, banda, whatever, it will be a cool hodge podge night with a few cold ones, and enjoy local people doing their thing.
I got the go ahead to do this and have set up a few guys to start this up, but I'd like to do about 2 hours worth of music. And if it kicks off and looks like a cool thing to do on a Monday Night or whenever then it might just become a regular thing.
Not looking for professionals, just people who would regularly never have the opportunity to play in front of other people besides their friends and families.
