Mrs. Durazo is the new AP english teacher?

I really feel sorry students that will be taking that class next year. I remember being in her class and she would just talk for the first half of class time. I didn't learn anything in that class.[/i]

FTB...these kids are better off taking regular english than have her for AP eng lit...you don't even REALLY learn anything in that class anyways Laughing

Yeah, all she does is talk and talk and talk, then forgets things. Talks about city of calexico, blah blah blah. Almost as bad as Mr. Carrillo as a teacher. I can't say I learned from her class, other than that she's not a good teacher. It's so sad. Crying or Very sad

Between Mr. Carrillo and Ms. Durazo who during class time and/or school hours was/is more on their cell phones?

A teacher should never be on their cell phones during work. Period. I don't know about lately, but Ms. Durazo was constantly using her cell phone during school hours.

I really hope she was chosen as the new AP English teacher out of merit, and not as a last resort since no other English teacher wanted the position.

If she gives her scantron exam/quizzes I hope that they are designed to maximize her students efforts on the AP exam and not done of of her own laziness.

well I haven't seen her on the phone much but she did take mine away and gave me a referral..probably the most boring class I've ever had, sucks that I only go to school for her class.oh well only 4 more weeks of torture..

my brother was enrolled in her class...but from at experience with me ...my dad took his ass out.....not a very fun class....i mean shit...she gave like three referrals out the FIRST day of class when i had her....and made a friend of mine cry becuase she didn't have a red pen.......
