I passed by INO yesterday and the inside looks just about done. The outside is almost there, so could it open EOM?

Am I the only one who cares?

4X4, baby.

The 4x4 is America's greatest culinary achievement. I'll bury my face in a 4x4 (side of spread) any day of the week. Of course, this type of eating has me at a lean 4000 lbs, but it's worth it.

But no, you're not the only one who cares. My wife has been stalking the construction crew foreman for months. They're keeping the opening date under wraps it seems.

There's gotta be somebody at the County or City of El Centro who is willing to spill the beans. It's not like INO can just open whenever they please.

Some type of final inspection date would give us a very good clue.

I have always wanted to try those legendary little burgers. I've been so desperate that I tried to make them at home once, and even ordered that tiny burger platter at Denny's. Sadly, the farthest west this place goes is Minnesota. I guess we get In and Out, and the East gets White Castle.

Hey I heard that 1000 people applied at IN-N-OUT and only 50 or so are getting hired. I guess IN-N-OUT is one of the best places to work in the valley not only do you get great food but you also get great pay, paid vacations and great benefits. What more can you ask for.....specially here in the Valley

20:1 ratio.

Wow. Is that a new record here in the valley?

When was the last time so many people applied with one employer that only had such limited number of jobs available?

I hope INO workers don't let this stat go to their head. And let's hope INO customer service is great since they weeded out almost a thousand unworthy applicants.

Seems like all the hype around INO has finally died out.

When are we getting a Tommy's?

Chili burger, chili dog, chili cheese fries. Oh, and if you know how to order it, you can get the chili coke.

Tommy's doesn't mess around with chili.

Chili Coke? I think I just wet myself. I've never heard of Tommy's, do they serve chili?

Well, if this is the same Tommy's that elchrist is talking about, yes.

It's pretty much a fast food joint that appeals to the chili connoisseur. Decent place, but I don't know if better than Hamburger Stand chili.
