Yeah, boy. Mexicali now has a Segunda Division soccer team under the name Centinelas. The Centinelas will be part of the Zona Pacifico, which must be a new zone since I wasn't able to find anything on it.

The Centinelas officially join the league in September and are actually in the process of building the team with local players. Those who want to try out can go to Campo Necaxa Monday through Friday at 8 PM.

We'll definitely be there for their first home game, but at this point I don't even know if they have enough players to form the team.

Why are the Centinelas playing in the Tercera Division, along with the Cachanillas, and not in the Segunda? |
