It'll forever be tough to make Calexico an eco-friendly city thanks to Chicali, but that shouldn't stop us from trying. So if anything, check out Yahoo!'s Be a Better Planet and get yourself a CF (compact fluorescent) light bulb for free and at least save yourself some pennies each month off your electricity bill.

What are you doing to make Calexico green?
Can you imagine us having hybrid taxis and not these LTDs from the eighties driving around town? How about replacing those old painted school buses in use as public transportation from the border to the swap meets and Wal-Mart? I can't imagine the owners investing in newer and cleaner technology until these vehicles can no longer make them a buck. |

The Chicalons can ride bicycles across the border and we can have rickshaws and pedicabs going to the swap meet.
What we really need is a liquor store doing delivery service so we don't have to drink and drive for that last (24) pack of BUD. |
