Pompeyo Tabarez Police Chief of Calexico? Only in Calexico

It is very said to see that Calexico City Council Members John Renison and David Ouzan are backing and being wined and dined by Imperial County Sheriff Deputy Sergeant Pompeyo Tabarez for the position of Chief of Police. I cannot even tell you how disgusted I am to here this. I was at Carrow's about three weeks ago and I saw all three of them talking on how he would be a good Chief. I said to myself God Be with Us, I remeber applying for a position at for the City of Calexico and I remeber reading on the application about not approaching city officials for jobs in the city. After hearing thier conversation I think they violated this. Another thing I would think that the City of Calexico would want to take a step forward not a step back by hiring Tabarez as the Chief. In that case I see more qualified Sergeant's at the Calexico Police Department. Citizens of Calexico you finally got a good Police Department, now lets fuck it all up and let Tabarez who does not have any adminsitrative skills become Chief. John and David remember to think right not want a Police Chief under your belt for your little illegal favors. I know that John wants a Chief that can erase traffic citations given to him or his wife and David, well we all know about David.... Crying or Very sad

I called some of my buddies at the PD and he told me that the Calexico Police Officers are pissed off at this. He also reminded me that the POA (Police Officers Association ) did not even endorse Tabarez for Sheriff. He told me that Tabarez gave a speech at a meeting and that they said that they would not endorse him, even if he promised them a million bucks each.

Shame on you Renison and Ouzan. Get your heads out of your asses and think for the better.

Calexico is growing fast and you need a leader not a person who will do things at your will. Illegal things.

Renison and Ouzan get out of politcs you guys are not on the up and up.

Citizens if you here of any wrong doings on these or any politicians call the FBI and report them. Let's put a stop to this.

I'm not saying that there is no corruption, but hearsay is just that. Cucu84, mention he saw a political violation and heard 'something', but in this day an age of camera cels, why didn't he just take 15 seconds of footage.

Instead of posting that you saw and heard something, upload a video on C.com. Plus, if one calls the FBI what is one going to say, "Yeah, I'm calling from Calexico, CA, and I wan't report a .... yeah I saw them eating at Carrows together and talking."

A picture would do, unless one doesn't want to go through all the trouble that Mason Storm had to go through.

The person that should be concerned the most is the person that currently holds the position of police chief. I sure wouldn't appreciate some hack politicking for my job behind my back. Just not right way to go about it.
