It's not a link. It's an embedded Flash media object. The same that you'll find on other sites, including YouTube.

Something is wrong w/ your 'puter. Call up Geek Squad so they can film you while you take a bath.

Good video...man, that BP agent would've been really messed up if that guy had thrown the rock at him. Looks justifiable to me. This one's more clear cut than the shooting in the early 1990's when a young illegal alien punk street rat was perched atop the fence downtown and was poised to throw a rock at an agent. The agent popped him with his 9mm and last I heard it was still under investigation. I recall the Mexican media made a big stinking deal about it ...even ABC's Sam Donaldson came to interview Calexico's PD Chief Leslie Ginn....turns out about a year later this same punk--who survived the shooting--came across the border and was stopped by officer Abe Sanchez for possesion of stolen property--the punk punched ofc Sanchez in the eye and took off running for the border--but the ofc caught him and arrested him. I was so pissed off that the Mexican Media did NOT resport this (like always) that I called Radio show Host Bermudez and gave him all the details. Fuck this punk and all their ilk...they do so much damage to Calexico and no one seems to be outraged...only when they get shot, THAT'S when they cry bloody murder and play the victim. Fucking pussies. You play, you pay. This asshole with the rock got what he deserved. Period.
Anyone care to differ?

I tried looking at the video frame by frame. It looks like there was a third person near the pollero to the front of the bp truck on the right. The bp truck to the left had the driver door open, then it was closed and the third person is missing and the bp agent appears with his rifle. The camera pans away at this point.

It also looks like the pollero cocked his arm like he was ready to throw something, but he was looking at the bp truck to the right. When you think about it, he could have just been doing that as a trick against the bp agent. Like throwing a football, you look at one receiver, then throw at another.

How did that pollero get so close to them in the first place? Wouldn't it have been better just to get in the truck and drive away? As far as what thegarz said: "getting what he deserved" those are pretty harsh words considering a life was taken.

Oh the irony, I was trigger-happy too.

Anyway, the problem is people are too quick to judge, especially law enforcement. Taking the whole national security thing aside this isn’t so easy to justify. The video does show some individual on the left of the screen making throwing motions to the agents. But the video also shows an agent shooting an individual who was apparently making a throwing motion to a parked car. Before he throws the rock he is gunned down.

The real question is whether there was a BP agent inside that car? If not, an individual was gunned down to safe property. Is a broken window worth more than the life of a human being?

Thus, without knowing more it cannot be easily said that gunning down of an individual is justifiable, unless you think like a cop.

Seems like the smuggler tried taking advantage of the "tuck rule."

Where did this take place? Location wise
Was this in the city limits?

When I see someone with a gun- I tend to disappear and or retreat backwards. Not too wise to harass the man with the gun.

I don't feel comfortable with BP agents carrying guns in the city. I hope they have guidelines about usage in the city. Crazy world-different law enforcement agencies all over town.

It is just sad to see raza killing raza. agent arturo lorenzo blasting 20yr old ramiro gamez. is the border patrol force understaffed? was it his last resort to blast the vato in the chest? gotta say it calecianos pero pinche migra culeros. sad to see divisions separating raza, we see it first-hand in this frontera. i bet a gringo agent wouldnt have killed him, maybe shot him in the leg or something. pero a latino in the u.s. in law enforcement or this type of jale has to show how down they are with gringolandia, and they want to prove it. ni pedo. en paz descanse el paisa.
