If we were either, I assure you there would be no illegal aliens in the United States. How many illegal aliens are there in Mexico? Ever talked to someone detained my Mexican Immigration? Ever been to the southern border of Mexico? Rhetoric, rhetoric. All rhetoric. Racists, Nazis, etc. |
I never said we were anything, just that we seem to be slowly heading there. |

As for justification, if I get all Big Lewboski on your car and when you come outside can you shoot me? Can you use deadly force solely to protect property? Aren't law enforcement trained professionals? |
I have to agree that it does appear that the rock thrower was about to throw the rock towards the vehicle and not the agent. It also appears that the agent could have easily taken down the rock thrower from that distance without firing his weapon. To me it looks like a case of excessive force, by an undertrained or scared shitless agent. |

It is not the critic who counts,
or how the strongman stumbled and fell,
or where the doer of deeds
could have done better.
The credit belongs to the man
who is actually in the arena,
who knows the great enthusiasms,
the great devotion,
and who spends himself
in a worthy cause.
If he fails,
at least he fails while daring greatly,
so that he may never be
one of those cold and timid souls,
who know neither victory nor defeat.
- Theodore Roosevelt

Ok so you law folks are tough people who us regulars can't comprehend, blah, blah, blah. So where is your answer to my question about why this
"the man
who is actually in the arena,
who knows the great enthusiasms,
the great devotion,
and who spends himself
in a worthy cause" couldn't of shot homeboy in the leg. I mean he is a well trained agent swore to protect and serve and noble shit like that, right? He could have shot the dude in the leg? Please tell me why he couldn't have? That's all I'm asking.
PS no more poems please. |

Apparently many are confusing this video to be the shooting by another BP agent named Nicholas Corbett in AZ who is now being charged with murder for killing a unarmed illegal immigrant back in January 12, 2007.

Yes, Fox News actually reported this. |

But hey, his opinion must hold some value since he did quote Teddy. While Teddy is one of the US great presidents his philosophy will always be to use brute force first then ask questions later. An imperialistic philosophy that worked well at the turn of the century, the last one that is. Then again, this is the president making such actions and in no way should this quote promote law enforcement officials to take the law into their own hands. |
