Please pass this along....
I lost a Taylor acoustic guitar, in a black hard shell case last night.
April 17th 2007. It fell off my truck, On West main Rd. in El Centro,
after practicing for a Cancer benefit. This guitar is of great
sentimental value, as it was my daughter Heaven's guitar, she passed
away a year ago in a car accident.
Please send this email out to all your friends locally. If anyone
knows or hears of someone finding one, please contact me

Would you two guys really answer him like that if you were face-to-face? Are you guys REALLY that jaded and/or heartless? This is a man who lost someone dear to him...come on....show some respect (no, I don't mean the 'gangster' type) unless you know the guy and his post is bullshit, then I can understand your replies...other than that....well, that was pretty brutal.

I'm not saying he's lying. I'm just saying his message has a few key elements that would form a common hoax. Now if he was also asking for a donation of some sort, then I'd call it BS. I'm just saying...
If Mr. Ram asked me "face-to-face" my response would be completely different because that would be real life and not make believe Internet ramblings.

The initial story is legit. Look it up. The girl's name was Heaven Ram, she was a talented little guitarist who died in a car accident. She worked at Clark Baker Music in El Centro. She comes from a family of talented musicians in Holtville --- her father, Mike, and her brother, Ty, I think, are singer-songwriter-guitarists.
You were a bit too quick to clown on this one. |

OK, so it's real. Excuse me for not knowing of everyone who lives in the valley. I'll never amount to anything without connections.
And lighten up... You can't believe everything that gets "published" on the Internet. Am I not right about the key elements to another e-mail hoax? |

What?
I hope he finds his guitar too. I never called him a liar and since it was passed on as chain mail I made the comment. What kind of world do we live in where people are offended by everything nowadays?
Regardless, if anyone is offended by my "insensitive" comments, I do apologize.
Will it make it any better if I repost the message on C.com's MySpace bulletin. I'm sure that's where this originated from in the first place. |
