| Does anyone else think there should be a stop sign at the intersection of Clinton and Meadow drive. There obviously a huge "blind spot" when you're traveling east to west or west to east. I think its just an accident waiting to happen........What do the "Calecianos" think?????? |

You're right, but isn't there already a stop sign going East and West?
When I've driven by there I've always worried about someone careless driver just hauling ass and side swiping me, so I slow down and double check that some Chicalon (as in driving skills) doesn't pop out of nowhere.
So yeah, put or reinforce the stop signs going East and West, but don't put one going North and South. That just ruins my commute!
And who was the smart ass in Calexico who decided to create the Hillary & Clinton T-intersection. Pathetic.
What's next... Dick & Bush? Poor soul who buys a house on that corner... |

Yep, a stop sign is needed there. What is the correct way to address it? a letter to the Major?

No, no, no. 
The proper procedure to rectify the situation is to bitch and complain on Calecia.com for weeks and then when nothing is done about the problem by the city and the first accident happens, we bitch and complain some more.

Outside the apparent safety precaution reported first by a C.com member, this thread reflects how old people have become.
Anyone up for complaining about the lack of handicap spots around town?
Maybe, in a couple of months I can convince my doc to hook me up with one of those primo placards. Then I can start a racing team...
Back to reality, it is apparent the lack of an adequate comprehensive city plan. |

Yeah for sure......I was proposing putting a stop sign north to south because when u come to the intersection of Clinton and Meadows DR there is a huge blind spot because of the cars parked there on the north side or the fence there if ur going east when u come to the stop sign. Its just gonna take one to just "go" and think there aren't any cars coming from either north or south and BAM.....u have urself an accident. Which would really kill ur commute. Anyway thats what I meant.......  |

Where is Clinton? I need a map.  There's a huge blind spot coming out of Victorias and into Meadows. I just turn based on whether I see a light coming or not. |

We sure have a lot of streets named after local people whether dead or alive. What I love are the first initials -very confusing
Is it Sapphire Street or Saphire? The street sign only has one p.
When does Calecia get a street name? |
