McD's is trying out some new "gourmet" burgers at their Southern California restaurants. The Angus Third Pounders seems to be McDonald's second attempt at growing up since their first try with the Arch Deluxe burgers. A miserable failure, IMO.
This time around there's the Deluxe, Mushroom Swiss and Bacon Cheese. The pictures do look pretty good, but I don't know... it is McDonald's.
I'm wondering if Imperial County is actually part of the test-market.

| If they sell them here I'm gonna try it. I'm a fan of McDonalds, even though it tastes like shit. There's seriously some addicting chemicals in their food. |

Double Cheeseburgers are the way to go.
Why get exotic, when you can get a solid meal for 2 bucks. |

You're right. You can't beat this burger at $1. It does take it's toll on you though, but if you have no other choice this is one of the ways to go for cheap fuel. Homeless people could probably live off McD double cheeseburgers and the two tacos at Jack. Let's not forget the 3 for $3 deal at Hamburger Stand.
Someone told me they had a cousin long ago who bought a fridge-full of cheeseburgers at McDonald's when they were 25 cents (or cheaper) and lived off that for weeks, if not months. Pobre vato... literally. |

I have some bad news for you guys...The double cheeseburger is no longer $1 , at least in the El Centro McDonalds. I found this out about 2 days ago and I have yet to check it out here in Calexico. I was not about to pay $2 for a freakin' D. C. burger. |

The bacon and Cheese sux!
I think the deluxe one is good... but they should just make the meat in the big mac bigger charge a buck more for that.. they would make more money out of that than their angus burgers.... |
