Looks like in a couple years we'll have ourselves a four-lane highway (w/ cuotas?) to San Felipe. There are currently 18 miles of the carretera already completed on the San Felo end and just another 90 more to go.
I haven't been to San Felipe since I was like 6 or 8, but who knows, I might just be making a trip there a few years from now. Or maybe not.

yes great loss indeed. sucks for all the businesses down there who had stocked up on goods, it left more money in town than spring break. and it was the best race of the year too you can blame the guy in the article for all this.. |

Didn't San Felipe lose the Baja 500 or 1000 years ago too?

| well they have never started in san felipe but the 1000 goes through there most of the time. hopefully it will be back in sf in 08 |
