He might have read it before or even searched the Int'net and found out a variation of this hoax was posted on snopes.com.
But, when I was asked this question (under the influence of alcohol), I answered it (correctly) within 5 seconds. I had never heard the question, but even started doubting myself a little later. Then I accused the person who asked me this that it was a joke and whomever answered the question immediately, with any answer, has the right answer. Then they could tell the rest of the group that you're the psychopath. I was wrong about that part, but I did get the right answer to this "riddle."
So, I don't doubt Americano honestly knew the answer, since he did serve time at Pelican Bay... |
