We ended up going to Martini last weekend and it's not bad. It's basically a "poshed" up Uni "Irish Pub" Bar with electronic-type music videos and a second-level "VIP" room. It was real packed that Saturday night to the point where people would shoulder you and you'd have to protect your drink with your life from danger. No table means you stand and get bumped around with shitty service included. Fortunately I wasn't drinking much, but the waiter was on it with my Bohemias.
Seriously though, the upper loft area was kinda funny, but hey I wouldn't mind getting a table up there and spitting down loogies at the folk down below. You seriously need a table for any kind of fun and relaxation here.
$50 peso cover charge. $35 peso Bohemias (I would think Tecates and such are $25) with mixed drinks anywhere from $50 to $70 pesos. I'd probably go back, but only with a table secured.
Oh, and that Ice place totally blows goats. It's a rehash of Forum and Tempos. The music totally sucked donkey d... Who plays Nirvana these days? |
