Has anyone eaten at Tenotch Deli in Calexico yet?
Man, these are some good sandwiches and wraps they've got going on there. The chicken wrap is da bomb and so is the sheepherder sandwich. Tasty and healthy food found here.
It's located across the street from the Elk's Lodge / behind the Border Motel (across from Our Lady of Guadalupe).

I have to admit that the sheephearder's sandwich is actually really good.
I went there about a month ago, but I was a little skeptical, they didn't even have menu's when I went in.
They just didn't seem prepared to open up. Hopefully, they start serving coffees or something else. It's not really layed out like a deli.
It has a really good hangout feel. They need to capitalize on that. |

They've got menus now and if you want, you can select your own ingredients and have them make your own meal.
The place does have a lounge feel, sorta electronicky, which I think is good since you can actually just hang out for a while and read some of their magazines or get on the Internet with their WiFi.
It also seems like they'll be having events in the future. |
