FYI: Mexico vs. Ghana is scheduled for 1 PM PST.

You can either follow it on ESPNDeportes.com or FIFA.com.

Also, Telemundo will broadcast the game live on channel 35 (antenna). Not sure about Dish, DirecTV or cable.

Actually, MedioTiempo.com seems to have the best coverage.

Mexico (2-1) Ghana

Damn Hugo had to basically bring in LaVolpe's old squad to pull off a win. The "new" El Tri became LaVolpe's El Tri.

Mexico almost scored in the first minute, but after that it was stale.
"No se le vio nada."

Nery definately let one go right before half, but the game itself was uninspired. A.Guardado was lost & nonexistent in the first half as Mexico decided to play through F.Arce's side or the middle. A.Guardado had a better second half as they looked for him more. He made a wonderful cross into el Guille, but I guess he hit it with his face.

Ghana made a nice goal. Mexico's two goals did not come from anything Hugo orchestrated. The first was C.Salcido running after the goalie who misplayed the ball of his foot for an easy score. The second came off Bofo's request for admission on Mexico's diving team, as the ref called a penalty. P.Pardo took care of the rest.

It seemed someone informed Hugo that this was his last game because he was pissed off the whole game.

Gotta give props to the Telemundo crew for calling the game as it should. They didn't give their opinion on who should start, who should have been there, when to sub, what to change, or about Hugo's recent failures with the team. The game cast was about futbol.

C.Ramirez new interim 'tecnico nacional.'

I do not like interim coaches, either name him straight up or find someone else ASAP.

Oh, man. What a relief. It was starting to feel like Bush was running El Tri for some time.

The USNT coach started off as an interim HC and look at him now.

There's some buzz overseas that Sven Eriksson (Manchester City, ex-England coach) could end up being the new coach for El Tri.

Eriksson linked to Mexico

The past few days there have been some rumors about Hugo becoming the head coach for Saudi Arabia, although I've only seen this on a couple message boards.

Does anyone have any sources?
