I'm tempted to get one becuase i'm a Gadget FREAK, but i know that I'm going to get stuck with a 2 year contract and have horrible service here in calexico.  |

I'm curious too.
I think the roaming problem still exists since it's on a GSM network. I know a few people who have iPhones in El Centro and they get no service in certain areas within El Centro.
The El Centro store is no longer an AT&T store and the Calexico AT&T store never opened up, so maybe they pulled out of this market?
Until there's a 3G network here, the iPhone won't be worth buying. Even though the new prices are under $300. |

New iPhone 3G, 8gb-black-$199, 16gb-white-$299.
But yeah, AT&T service still sucks in the valley.
Lets jailbreak it and put it on Telcel! |

According to the iPhone store locator, there is no place in the Imperial Valley to buy the iPhone 3G tomorrow.
I guess AT&T/Cingular chingo... |

No me.
The people I know with iPhones get really shady service and even when not in Calexico they get MOVISTAR as their provider. And you know what that means...
I was also checking out the App Store and saw that one monkey game for $100. I was like WTF?!, but shortly realized I had checked out iTunes Mexico and the price was in pesos. |

| I think im going. Sprint's phone service is great, but their customer support sucks. I'm sick and tired of getting the runaround when you have a problem with their handsets. I guess I could live with att's phone service for an iPhone, I ain't waiting till 2012 for sprint to get the iphone. Lame. |
