| Every year it seems that the Imperial Valley outdoes itself, the summer keeps getting hotter, and this feels like the coldest winter ever; it’s been (literally) freezing. I think the snowbirds are getting gibed; it’s almost as cold as Canada...well, not quite, but close. And it's cold without the snow, which is no fun. I’m just a whiner. |

It has to do with clouds. Clouds act as a type of insulation that keeps the heat, since deserts have no clouds the heat escapes. Mr. Ferrel, biology circa 1992 |
