Calexico or Mexicali kids

The Calexico High School every year donates gifts to the Neighborhood House. My questions is, should the High School donate some of their gifts and food that they receive from Seniors (Senior Christmas) to the more needed, like Mexicali orphanages.

I voted for the Mexicali orphanages because some of these children have probably never played with any real toys in their entire life... and that is very sad. I'm quite sure that the Neighborhood House already receives many donations from other organizations and private citizens, so the NH will have some toys/gifts to give away this year and most likely every other year.

One thing I can guarantee... if the CHS senior class donates gifts to Mexicali and not the NH, they will never hear the end of it from all the ignorant Calexico citizens.

i voted for the mexicali kids. the only thing that bothers me is whether or not it will really go to those kids or the kids of the people that work there.

i also believe it should go to mexicali kids. I know that once in the orphanges the people who run them are cool and really care about the kids in there. worrying about the kids actually getting them, you should think closer to home. I heard that at the NH, workers actually, take home (steal) toys that they recieve as donations. What kind of shit is that. Lets give to the kids in mexicali.

I voted for the Neighborhood House, because when I was a kid all Mexicali kids had those cool bottle cap checkers board games! I could never collect and save enough bottle caps to make my own checker set. Crying or Very sad
