Maybe Eric Galvan hasn't had time to read my challenge because he's been busy trying to wash out the acid rain from his eyes after hearing the news of the MLS Savior David Beckham signing with the LA Galaxy. Yeah, it's been taking away some of the steam from this NFL playoff weekend and it must be hurting some, so it's understandable. But...
Does IV Press Sports accept the challenge to play against Calecia.com in the First Annual STFU Flag Football Cup?
I'm certain other IV Press folk are crawling on the site during these days, so pass the word along to your compita. |

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
The IV Press has updated Acid Rain's profile/contact photo so that he doesn't look like a little b... Now he's looking scruffy with a beard and a Raider black v-neck. Ohhhhhh, he's tough.
Strange, I don't see any scars around his eyes...
Damn, he must have paid Google some feria cause his old photo isn't coming up cached on the Image search. Lucky... |

Stop listening to Jim Rome and other American media, and do some journalistic research. Several years back the NFL predicted that the Superbowl was viewed by a Billion viewers around the world. After the ratings came out less than 100 million Americans caught a game that mostly does not live up to the hype. I’m a huge NFL fan, but did anyone find the Giants v Ravens viewable? How about 3 quarters of the Patriots v Carolina game? Extremely boring game that ended pretty good.
No other choice? Like American players have a choice at what they do. Did Maurice Clarrett love football? Randy Moss? T.Owens has come out and said he would rather play in the NBA than football. Clearly, it’s all about the contracts and not the choice to play in the NFL. Obviously, I’m focusing on the ‘bad’ boys of the league, but all American sports have become about the business first and then the love of the sport is a distant 2nd, if not 3rd or last.
Week 1. Seatle (9) v Detroit (6). Barn burner.
Week 2. Denver (9) v KC (6) in OT. The score would be 3-2 in soccer.
Week 3. Did you catch any Niner games last year? Raider games this year? Are you a Browns fan?
There’s also a reason why the Bolts can’t sell out the Q without the city having to buy 10+k tickets per home game. How many Raider games have been blackout in the Bay area? Why are the Niners leaving for Santa Clara? Why doesn’t the 2nd largest market have a football team?
Why does the NFL keep changing the rules to make the game more entertaining?
Even with all that I still like watching the NFL, but soccer is fun to. I can’t watch MLS, but that doesn’t mean soccer isn’t entertaining. |
