I've got a GREAT idea!
How about Calecia.com challenges the Imperial Valley Press to a flag football game? Everyone loves to talk smack behind their computer (or typewriter), so why not make this legit and we settle it on the field?
I, elchrist, challenge Imperial Valley Press to a flag football game against Calecia.com!
(elchrist takes off glove and slaps Eric_Galvan in the face)

If the IV Press accepts, which I really doubt they will, we can have the flag football game during the weekend between the conference championships and the Super Bowl (January 27-28, 2007).

Really man, I've got nothing against you but here's my next rant. These here blurb sounds to me like either:
1. as elchrist said, you don't want to tread in unknown turf because you are already in a disadvataged status from your goofy comments, or
2. you really don't care for the forum, or
3. you actually do care what's being said about your stories in IV Press but wished they were all positive remarks, or that at least people didn't rip on you for a badly conceived editorial, but you're just playin' it cool because you already get all the readership you need from being published in the local newspaper, so you wont honor us with any more strokes of your mighty pen [keyboard]

Galvan is an idiot... a smart idiot? He writes well and hes very opiniated.. sometimes I think hes a Centro honk cuz the owner of the press has kids at SW...
