It wasn't until recently that I started watching The Shield, which is currently aired by Spike TV, and I must say this is one of the best cop shows I've seen in quite a long time. I used to think The Wire (on HBO) was good, but The Shield has some crazy side stories in it.

Right now it's reruns of season 5, which from where I've started watching is about some criminal who's thought to have killed two cops, a council member with a dark past and a bunch of corrupt cops. Of course as soon as I get into it I shortly find out that season 6 will be its last.

But any who, The Shield is great. Lots of stuff going on to make you sit on the edge of your couch while watching. I'll have to look into getting my hands on the previous seasons on DVD and catch up on what I've been missing out these past years.

Thank the almighty our Calexico PD is no where near this group of coppers. Or are they?... Tin Foil Hat

Haven't seen The Shield, but if you say its good maybe its worth a look.
