a kid won't abuse a bb gun if he/gets proper guardian guidance.

if they are to create trouble they would use anything they can find.

It’s not about how the kids are going to use it after they buy it. It’s the fact that no minors can buy bb guns legally... I am leaning to believe that the reason why the state made that law is to have the guardian know that the kid has bought the bb gun, and therefore give him/her guidance per say...

i agree, im not trying to say that all minors who buy bb guns are going to use them in their illegal manner, but minors especially MINORS in a boring city like Calexico will do outrageous things. we must come to see that accidents like in big cities do not occur here in our hometown. there is a legitimate governmental interest in containing the sale of these rifles for various reasons. dont take me wrong, but i dont want an innocent little kid purchasing a 1:1 ratio version of an AK47 from some desperate Korean salesman and running around the city playing around with it. these things are not toys, sure theyre fun, but they are not toys nevertheless. somebody needs to enforce this because the koreans are PLAIN out operating illegally without parental consent. im pretty sure there is a city ordinance on this.

I'm sure BB guns aren't the only illegal items being sold on Second St.

If there are any N. Koreans in Calexico, then we need to worry about the sale of uranium to minors as well...
